Tales of TEW

Anyway, I was playing TEW 2005 as WWE. During the first week's SmackDown!, I decided to do an epic tournament for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship using the Unchained storyline.

After two non-WHC-related matches, the tournament began.

Rey Mysterio beat Batista. Match rated A*.
Chris Jericho beat Edge (face). Match rated A*.
CM Punk beat the Undertaker. Match rated A*.
Chris Jericho beat CM Punk and Rey Mysterio for WHC. Rated A.

And for further epickness, I threw in the loser's tournament.

The Undertaker beat Rey Mysterio. Match rated A*.
Edge beat CM Punk and Batista. Match rated A*.
Edge beat Chris Jericho for WHC. Match rated A*.

Guess what the show rating was? B*.

I know you're gonna say it's because of the first two matches or angles.

The angles were all rated A*, minus the A before the first triple threat match, and the one in-between the first two matches of the entire show (B*.)

The two matches at the beginning were Lay-Cool vs Melina and Kelly Kelly, which was rated C*, and R-Truth vs Mr. Ziggles vs Carlito vs Kofi vs Christian, which was rated a B.

WTF?

Anyway, tell us about your ventures with TEW.

I always liked taking smaller feds and building them up to epic standards. My favorite was taking ROH to the very top and pretty much causing the WWE to go under.

JoMo, you probably had in too many matches. You have to have semisorta like this in WWE:

Yeah I always hated using the E due to that format.

I had matches followed by angles.

In fact, following most of those matches were a celebration angle, most being the same one (celebration singles.)
